Wickersley Derby match highlights youth football respect
Sunday just gone proved that grassroots football is alive and well in Wickersley as the two Wickersley under 8’s teams came face to face in a league match.
Before the match kicked off both teams lead an immaculately observed minutes silence for the victims of the recent Paris attacks.
As the match kicked off Respect was the order of the day with many classmates from local schools facing each other, but kids and parents alike were fantastic and supported good play.
