Wickersley Youth Under 15’s win the cup

Huge congratulations to Wickersley Youth under 15 Reds who won the cup over the weekend, beating a strong Wisewood team 7-6 on penalties.

The team under the tutelage of club chairman Len Curtis assisted by Mick Fox we’re 1-0 down at halftime, eventually pulling the game back to 2-2 at full time.

The scores remained the same at the end of extra time in a very close encounter and the game went to penalties.

Wickersley eventually overcoming Wisewood winning 7-6.

A huge congratulations to Len and the boys on another successful season.
