Wickersley Youth Junior Football Club is delighted to have been able to donate funds to purchase a bench in the memory of Under 14 player Tom Bothamley who sadly passed away early this year.

The bench was presented to Toms mum Keira and will provide a great place for Toms mates and family to sit and remember the lovely lad that he was.

The idea to purchase the bench was put forward at the monthly managers meeting by club chairman and Toms manager Len Curtis and all managers agreed that this was a brilliant idea.

Toms family and teammates are doing a sponsored walk in his memory from Hillsborough (the home of his favourite football club – Sheffield Wednesday) to Huddersfield.
